European Brandenburg Ensemble

This was a three-year project to celebrate Trevor Pinnock's 60th birthday, he established a new ensemble to re-record the Brandenburg Concertos which he first recorded in 1984 to great notoriety and kicked of a barque revival.

The brief was to create a contemporary brand that would appeal to a new and younger audience, whilst still reflecting the heritage of the music and that could be applied to a range of marketing materials.

The concept focussed on the figure 6 that represented the number of concertos and Trevor Pinnock's 60th birthday so it was an obivous to use the six off of Bach's original manuscript.
